Democrats have said they are going to pass the Senate-version of health care bill through what’s been referred to as “the Slaughter Solution,” where the bill will be “deemed” to have passed. On November 4th, House Republicans released our alternative health care reform legislation, the Common Sense Health Care Reform and Affordability Act (H.R. 4038).  The Common Sense Health Care Reform and Affordability Act includes smart, fiscally responsible reforms to lower health care costs and increase access to health coverage.

H.R. 4038 would allow Americans to buy insurance across State lines, encourage innovative solutions within individual States, prevents insurance companies from unjustly cancelling coverage or instituting lifetime spending caps and puts an end to lawsuit abuse.
