Corcoran Gallery of Art
Open 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. everyday and extended hours on Thursday until 9:00 p.m.  Closed on Tuesdays.  Suggested contributions for admission are $5 for adults; $3 for seniors and students; $1 for children (13-18); $8 for family groups with kids under 18; and children under 12 are free.  Located at the cross streets of 17th and New York Avenue

Daughters of the American Revolution Museum 
The museum is open for self-guided tours Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Docent-led tours are also offered Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  Groups of six or more should call to make reservations for a docent-led tour.

Drug Enforcement Administration Museum
The museum is open Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Admission is free.  Groups of 15 or more should call ahead to make reservations.

Ford’s Theatre and the Lincoln Museum
The site is open for tours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily (except December 25). Tickets are currently available through May 31 and from July 1 to August 31.  Tickets for June will be available at the end of April.  Tickets can be bought prior to your visit by visiting the Ford’s Theatre website.  Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

International Spy Museum
Visit website for updated hours throughout the week and weekend.  In order to enter the museum you must obtain a ticket, they can be purchased at the museum or online prior to your visit. During peak travel times (April through September) it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance.  Prices are $18 for adults, $17 for senior citizens (65+) and active duty military/intelligence, $15 for children ages 5-18, and children under 5 are free.

National Building Museum 
The National Building Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.  Admission is free, but a $5 donation is suggested.  The Museum is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. On rare occasions, the Museum may close for a special event.  Call 202-272-2448 with questions.

Smithsonian American Art Museum and its Renwick Gallery
These galleries focus on painting, sculpture, graphics, folk art, craft and photography 18th century to the present. The galleries are located on the National Mall, the grassy area between the Capitol and the Washington Monument.

Smithsonian Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery
Museum hosts Asian and a specialized collection of American art.
Metro Stop: The Museum's main building is conveniently located above the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metrorail station (Red, Yellow and Green lines). The Renwick Gallery is near the Farragut North (Red line) and Farragut West (Blue and Orange lines) Metrorail stations.

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum
Highlights are the Wright Flyer, Spirit of St. Louis, Skylab, Apollo 11 Command Module and the Hubble Space Telescope test vehicle.

Smithsonian National Museum of African Art
Highlights are royal Benin art, the Sylvia H. Williams Gallery devoted to modern African art and works of art from the ancient Nubian city of Kerma.
Metro stop: Smithsonian on the blue/orange line

Smithsonian National Museum of American History
Highlights are the Star-Spangled Banner, John Bull steam locomotive, the First Ladies gowns, the Presidential china collection, Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers from the Wizard of Oz, Cold War-era submarines, the Gunboat Philadelphia, Muhammad Ali’s boxing gloves and much more.

Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian
This museum is the first national museum dedicated to the preservation, study, and exhibition of the life, languages, literature, history, and arts of Native Americans.
Metro stop: L’Enfant Plaza (Blue/Orange/Green/Yellow lines).

Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History
Highlights are dinosaurs, giant squid, the Hope Diamond, the O. Orkin Insect Zoo and the Discovery Room.

Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery
The Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery tells the stories of America through the individuals who have shaped U.S. culture. Through the visual arts, performing arts, and new media, the Portrait Gallery portrays poets and presidents, visionaries and villains, actors and activists who speak American history.
Metro stop: Gallery Place-Chinatown Metrorail station (Red, Yellow and Green lines).

Smithsonian National Postal Museum
Highlights are three mail planes, an airmail beacon, replicas of a railway car and a mud wagon, displays of letters, more than 55,000 US and foreign-issue stamps and many more video and computer interactive games for all ages.

Smithsonian Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center
It is about a 30 minute drive away at 14390 Air and Space Museum Parkway in Chantilly, VA.  Tickets are free, but there is a $12 parking charge.

United States Botanic Garden 
The U.S. Botanic Garden is a living plant museum with indoor and outdoor areas to explore.  Visitors can enjoy the outdoor Bartholdi Park 24 hours a day.  The indoor conservatory is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
Open 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. April through June (Tuesday and Thursday hours are extended until 8pm.)  You must have a timed entry pass for the self-guided tour. They are free and can be obtained from the Museum on the day of your visit or in advance by visiting tickets.com. Tickets are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Metro stop: Smithsonian on the blue/orange line, exit to the 12th and Independence Ave

United States Navy Museum 
Tour groups and individuals who do not have military or Department of Defense identification and want to visit the Museum should call in advance for an appointment. Open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Open Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please call by noon on Friday for weekend visitation.
