Where can I find information for burial in a Kentucky Veterans' Cemetery?

Burial at a Kentucky State Veteran’s Cemetery is administered through the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA). KDVA has opened three Veteran Cemeteries in Kentucky and plans are underway to construct one in Greenup County and another in Leslie County. Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville opened in 2004, Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Hardin County opened in 2007, and on August 22, 2008, Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown opened.

For more information, please visit the Kentucky Department of Veterans' Affairs website or call (502) 564-9203.

The DVA National Cemetery Administration (NCA) maintains 128 national cemeteries in 39 states, including eight in Kentucky:

Camp Nelson National Cemetery
Cave Hill National Cemetery
Danville National Cemetery
